Stargazer Farm is located in Sandy Oregon near the head waters of the Bull Run Reservoir. The property is a beautiful 70 acres with a back trail down to a sunny beach along the sandy river. The farm is the birth place of the well known "Stargazer Lilly" which was developed here. There are 6 acres under organic production, and we are excited to be offering a variety of fresh, local vegetables each week through Knowthyfoods.

Our farming practices are are permaculture based using only OMRI certified products for soil health and plant management. On site we value soil health by laying feilds fallow when needed as well as continually developing a process for cover cropping in fall and spring. Cover cropping helps reduce the need for destructive tiling practices as well as creates a cycle for building on site fertility with nitrogen fixing plants and increased organic compost in feild.
