Rye Berries

Rye Berries
This item is not presently for sale, please check back when ordering is open.
Our Organic Rye Berries are grown on a family farm in Oregon. The grains are longer and more slender than wheat and have a grayish, green color. Rye carries a good source of dietary fiber, protein, manganese, phosphorous and selenium.
Rye Berries can be cooked as a whole grain, a hearty breakfast cereal or sprouted to enhance your favorite salads and sandwiches. Grind at home for flour and create dark, compact and dense rye bread and pumpernickel.
NOTE: This is a bulk item that comes in a 25 pound bag. Please specify a range you are willing to accept in the customer notes field. For example, min. 2 pounds, max. 10 pounds. We will adjust amounts among everyone who wants this product in order to assign the entire bag. If there are not enough people ordering, your order may get canceled. The more you are willing to take, the more likely the order is to go through.
Due to the large quantities we must purchase in order to enjoy wholesale pricing, we ask all members to order all Hummingbird items once a month only during the order cycle including the first Saturday of the month. Dates for this year may be found on the Hummingbird Producer page at the bottom of the descriptions in red: here. Please allow an extra Order Cycle for us to split and bag the orders.
