Frozen artisanal pizza, straight from your freezer.

We’re a group of rad people that not only enjoy the alchemy of fire and food, but are crazy enough to commit our life to producing delicious wood-fired pizza - which at a moment’s notice - can be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home.

In March of 2020 due to the rapid spread of the novel coronavirus, states began issuing stay-at-home orders shutting down all non-essential businesses, travel and gatherings ,creating a ripple effect that crippled the restaurant industry. The future of all restaurants and Renata became uncertain. On the same day this shutdown was announced, our friend and meat purveyor, Pat, was scheduled to deliver a cow to the restaurant. It was important to us to honor our commitment to this vendor and it highlighted how huge a shift this shutdown might impose in our collective journey in the restaurant industry.

Originally the hope was the shut down would last only a few weeks, however weeks turned into months of pivoting and reinventing our business plan. Along the way, we decided to test wood fire pizzas as a frozen item to offer our clients. It felt critical to us to find a means to stay connected to our guests and support overwhelmed families with simple solutions for meals. Renata pizza became a vehicle to continue to do what we do best - nourish and care for our community.

Have you bought a pizza because the picture on the box looked so good, only to end up completely underwhelmed with the actual product?
We believe in transparency. What you see is what you get. No need for perfect pictures because our pizzas don’t require food styling.
We believe that what we eat matters, so we take pride in sourcing only the highest quality ingredients without any preservatives - no hidden ingredients.

Why wood-fired cooking? Why would anyone have it any other way? Fire is not only the most primitive method of cooking, but it also imparts the best flavor to food. There's no pizza like wood-fired pizza!

It takes two full days to craft Renata pizza dough. Slow fermentation gives it perfect flavor and texture. No shortcuts, just patience!

Our sauce is made from the freshest vine-ripened tomatoes, letting their essence shine. It's so delectable you'll want to lick your pizza!

High-quality cheese is key to superb pizza. We grate ours daily for fresh flavor, without preservatives!
